Fear is the biggest block there is to our finding happiness, peace and fulfilment. It can be completely debilitating when we let it reach chronic proportions. Most of the things that people are afraid of are not rational and do not even exist at the time that the fear is felt. Fear is about what “might” happen in the future and not what “is” happening now. Fear creates limitation and the need for control, we therefore have to make our lives very small. The most common aspects of fear are worry, phobias, panic attacks, anxiety and trauma. All these feed on themselves and grow bigger until they take over our lives and destroy us.
